Nollywood Star Actor, Emeka Ike Reportedly Begs His Wife To Come Back Home After She Filed For Divorce

Last week, it was revealed Emeka Ike had been served divorce papers by his wife after 12 years of being together. The reports claim she was fed up of being physically abused by Emeka. This morning, Emeka is giving his side of the story:

“I also read the news of the divorce online when someone called my attention to it. I have not got any letter from any court yet, so it is all still speculations. Every family has its challenges and people disagree over issues a lot. Marriage is not just about husband and wife but the children. I will not play with that mandate because my children are my prerogative and they have to be properly protected. Nobody should mess them up because of all these rumors.

If my wife says I am a wife beater, the children would have witnessed such. I have a 14-year-old boy who is grown and has moustache now, you can ask him if I have ever beaten his mother. Never in my life have I raised my hand to beat my wife. I adore that woman and I love her a lot. If she wants to use my love against me, no problem and if people do not believe me, they should go to my former residence in Lagos to ask my neighbors if they ever heard that I beat my wife.

Rather when my wife starts making noise like women normally do, I use that period to train my children. I would ask my children like this, ‘what do you do when a woman begins to nag at home?’ They would tell you that the next thing to do is pick your car keys and drive off. That is the normal training I give my sons so that they would never beat their wives. If my wife wants to leave me, she should have just said that it is due to irreconcilable differences and not that I am a wife beater.

It would mean that she is trying to get unnecessary sympathy and I don’t think she would say such. When I showed my children what was on the internet, they were sad and said that it was a lie because I don’t beat their mother. I am a father of four children and I must protect them first before I even protect myself. That is why I would never say any bad thing about their mother. God would judge us all in life. Anyone who sees my wife should tell her to come back home to her children because they need her”
Hmmm… interesting. What’s your view?

Inside her desert oasis! Lady Gaga enjoys freebie stay at $12 million mansion while headlining Coachella

She was the headliner for both weekends of Coachella this year. And while in the desert for the annual musical festival, Lady Gaga stayed at a $12 million Mediterranean mansion, courtesy of Airbnb. The 31-year-old made herself at home in the sprawling 9,500 square foot home, with seven bedrooms and five bathrooms. The normally $10,000-a night Airbnb listing is located in Rancho Mirage, which is just a 25 minute drive from the festival in Indio, California. Lady Gaga replaced Beyonce as the headliner for Coachella; Beyonce pulled out of the festival shortly after announcing that she's pregnant with twins. On Monday, the artist thanked Airbnb for the home as she posed next to a large fireplace in a pink hoodie; she wrote: 'Thank you @airbnb for my desert home. A wonderful gift!' While prepping for her Coachella gig, the Grammy award winning songstress rested at the mega estate, which has 360 degree mountain views and a resort style pool. The kitchen had st...

Why Detroit has the largest satanist temple chapter in the US

The "largest public satanic ceremony in history" took place last Saturday in Detroit, a city that has the largest and oldest chapter of a national Satanist organization.  The group unveiled a nearly 9-foot tall bronze statue of a goat-headed Baphomet in a private ceremony attended by 600 ticket holders, Lucien Graves, co-founder of the national Satanic Temple organization in Boston. The Satanic Temple in Detroit has more than 200 registered members. "They are so active and well-organized," Graves said. "There's probably been another wave of interest since this event."  The Detroit chapter is the first of the national organization, Graves said. He credits the Detroit chapter's founder Jex Blackmore with the growth of the chapter since it was established there in August 2014. "It's more or less because of her. She was just a very confident person who started working with us," Graves said further. The pair...
