How many tourist places have you visited in your life? Some
have many whereas others have very less or none. There are many wonders in the
world. And how many wonders people would see in their lifetime? Is it possible
to them to add at least one wonder in their list every year? “Wonders” list
have different categories, like wonders of the ancient world, wonders of the
modern world and as of now wonders of a natural world. Any of the places
getting in this list would be an absolute honor. When we saw that a particular
place is added to the list of beautiful places, we would like to go there and
encounter its real beauty. Some places are still not considered in this list
but which can be considered and still can be called as wonders in their own way

Banaue Rice terraces,
which were built 200 years ago by hand, are called as the eighth wonder of the
world by Filipinos. These man-made rice terraces are famous in Philippines. It
is said that it would have covered half the globe if the steps were placed side
by side. End number of tourists trek up the Ifugao Mountains to view the
terraces which are used to plant vegetables and rice.
9. Tower of Hercules, Spain
Tower of Hercules is an
ancient lighthouse just as the lighthouse of Alexandria in Egypt, which is
almost 2000 years old. It is also considered as a National Monument of Spain
and UNESCO world heritage site. It is the oldest roman lighthouse used today.
8. Torun, Poland
The beautiful town of Torun in Poland is one of the
wonderful tourist destinations. It is beautifully well-preserved and it is
known as the birthplace of the renowned astronomer, Nicolaus Copernicus. It is
worth seeing from churches to the town hall to city walls which show the
structures in the medieval style which are built from bricks.
7. Meteora, Greece
Meteora, located in the
Thessaly is the largest and known complexes of monasteries in the Eastern
Orthodox faith. Six monasteries are built on the top of the sandstone rock
formations protruding out above the trees and high into the sky, hence giving
the name Meteora meaning “middle of the sky”. It is commendable to visit it
soon before the crowd ascertain it, as it is still under the radar of tourist
attraction recognition. It is believed a UNESCO world heritage site.

Asia has the large number of
temples and cities that are distinctive and Bagan is one of them. Bagan in
Myanmar is an ancient city which had over 10,000 Buddhists temples and pagodas
in its glory days. Today, with 2,000 ancient structures Bagan is more than
enough, to be considered as a beautiful tourist attraction spot. If you
want a clear view of the city the best way is to take an air balloon ride which
will help you see all the ancient sites.

The main entrance of the library, and burying the person

located in Ephesus, Turkey, which was built in the honour of great Roman

Tunnel of Love, Ukraine
Here comes something interesting for Couples! Tunnel of
love is cuddled up deep in the forests of Kleven, Ukraine which is a grass-covered
railroad track of 3 kilometres that passes through a corridor of thick,
abundant trees. This place has become famous for the background for the photos
of lovers and for photographers too. Some superstitious belief attached to this
beautiful place is that if a couple wishes something walking in this tunnel,
the same will come true. And many for this purpose too!
3. Red beach, Panjin, China
Red beach in Panjin, China is not exactly a beach as one
thinks seeing it initially. There is no expansion of sea and sand through which
one can call it as a beach. It has Sueda, a kind of seaweed which commences
growing in spring days, turns in shade of green in summers and changes in
shades of maroon in autumn. The portion which is open to tourists can be
visited during the months of September to November.

Wisteria Tunnel in Japan is the place where you will feel
like being in a fairytale land. This tunnel is man-made which is made full of
wisteria flowers. Best time to visit this place is at the time of the wisteria
festival in spring as flowers are not in full bloom all year round.
1. Enchanted Well at Chapada Diamantina National Park, Brazil
The enchanted well, in brazil, is not actually a well and
no one knows whether it is really delighted or not. It is a giant hollow pool
which is 100 feet deep and astoundingly clear. It has the best transparency
through which one can see the tree trunks and rocks lying on the bottom of the
pool. One can see its best view when sunlight falls into a small opening
bringing out a clear blue reflection in the water.
